Evan Noonan, a sophomore at Dana Hills High in California, won the boys varsity championship race at the South Coast League cross country finals at Irvine Regional Park. Noonan covered the 3-mile layout in 14:21.4 to follow Jai Dawson as individual winner for the Dolphins. Noonan elevated from 18th as a freshman to help Dana Hills place second overall behind three-time champion San Clemente by a 23-45 margin.
